I was born on the 14th of June, 1971 in the northern regional capital of Tamale, Ghana to Hamidu Yakubu (now a retired soldier) from Sapeliga in the Bawku West District of the Upper East Region and Madam Adama Musah a teacher from the royal family of Gambaga in the Northern Region.
